Gallery 96 is establishing a salon for people interested in photography and in taking better pictures. We have chosen the idea and structure of a salon because it captures what we would like to achieve in the courses we offer.

 

A salon is a gathering of people under the roof of an inspiring host, held partly to amuse one another and partly to refine the taste and increase the knowledge of the participants through conversation, study, and practice.”

 

Gallery 96 and its faculty will provide the inspiration; the amusement will come from everyone, faculty and students alike. In the end we hope and plan for fun, knowledge, and improved skills.

 

Our classes will be small: a maximum of six people.
